What is Photography

1. Erik's question to the audience posed whether the photos that he's taking were really photographs because they weren't the type of photos you can take with your camera. 2. Erik's first real passion was drawing. 3. Erik previously thought that photography was about being at the right place at the right time and that anyone could do that. 4. This inspired him to be creative and do something different. 5. The common goal that Erik's photos have is that the photo taking process only begins when you press the trigger. 6. Realism means that something has a sense of real life to it. 7. The principles he adheres to when creating an image is that he wants them to seem like you can take these photos. 8. It is easier to create a place than find a place because when you have a certain idea in your head, its easier to create and your photos will always be unique because its not a place that anyone can go to. 9. He plans his photos by sketching them out first....

Describing Photographs (response)

                                         1). This picture is an image of a women climbing a ladder putting up wet clothes or taking down dry clothes. In this picture, you can see a lot of clothes hanging on the power line with the ladder balancing onto the power line. It looks like she is climbing up the ladder with more wet clothes in her hands to put on the power line to dry. In the background, there are a couple of trees and a lot of grasslands. In this photograph, the viewer's attention is to look at the lady on the ladder to show balance. 2). This photograph is described as a guy on a kayak by dirt and platforms that are mirrors. In this picture, you can see that the guy is looking at all the platforms that have a reflection to it and he seems to be living his best life. This photo makes me feel happy and relaxed because it's very sunny and he is all by himself on the b...
