Photo Response

This is an image of a girl. It looks like some guy is climbing up a little girls face. The man is standing on the bridge of her nose holding a very thin rope. The girls eyes are a shade of green or blue. This image looks half artistic and half documentary. The documentary part of this photo is the story behind it. The artistic part of this photo comes from the way the photos are shot and the way this photo is meaningfulness or expressed. This image is not photoshopped, when I did some research on it, it said that this image is of a man working on a billboard. The photographers intent was to show that he was feeling helpless.







                                     



I now realize that this man isn't even part of the piece, he is just a worker installing the piece. I now see a girl with messy dirty blonde hair and big green/blue eyes. Her lips and skin seems to be dry which might indicate that she could be suffering. The mood of this image is depressing because the location of this image seems to be abandoned. I think the title "The Last Girl" suggests that she is the last of her kind and needs some help in her situation. I also think the title represents that she is the last girl being. I think the size of the picture affects the meaning because it shows all the small details in one smaller picture. Also, this image looks like it is facing the water or a river.
