The Importance of Art

"Tax dollars should not be wasted on art, music or theatre classes in high school. Public high schools should be about training young people to enter the workforce. Period."

In my opinion, I think that tax dollars should be used on funding art programs for students to learn about things they will want to learn in the future. Art programs are not a waste, It's a way for students to express their creativity. The programs get students to attend school because if we just had to go to math, English, history, science, etc every day....students would be not want to go to school since it would be so boring. In core classes, many students zone out and the classes are so boring that it is very hard to pay attention. Tax dollars can be spent on new equipment to make art, music, or theatre classes fun and some people may even choose to be an artist or musician in the future.
